Terms of use

The ground rules for using Calclulo. Last updated 1 November 2026.

The short version

Calclulo is free to use. Treat every result as an estimate, check anything that matters before you act on it, and don't misuse the site. We can't take responsibility for decisions made from an estimate.

Who we are and what you agree to

"We" means Calclulo, a product of Chimee Holding. "You" means whoever uses the site. By using it you accept these terms, the privacy policy and the cookie policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Calclulo does

Each calculator takes the numbers you enter, applies a stated formula in your browser, and shows the result with an explanation and usually a worked example. Almost everything works without an account.

Estimates, not advice

Results are general information. They are not tax, legal, financial, medical, veterinary or engineering advice, and using the site doesn't create a professional relationship with us. In practice:

• Tax and customs rules change, and your case may involve reliefs or exemptions the calculator doesn't model. Confirm important figures with the tax authority or an adviser before you file or pay.
• The health calculators (BMI, GFR, ovulation, conception dates) can't diagnose anything. Talk to a doctor about your own situation.
• The animal calculators give typical gestation ranges. Your vet should confirm dates for a particular animal.
• Loan, lease and investment results assume simple, fixed terms. Real products add fees and changing rates, so read the provider's documents.
• The creator and advertising tools use rates that you enter. They show what those rates would produce, not what you will earn.

Accuracy

We test each calculator against worked examples before publishing, but we can't promise every figure is right or current. Rates, thresholds, holiday dates and official rules change, and we are sometimes slow to catch up. If you find a mistake, email hello@calclulo.com and we'll look into it.

Your account

Accounts are optional and exist for saving favourite calculators. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Please don't

• try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the site, its accounts or the services behind it;
• scrape the site at a scale that affects other users, or flood it with automated requests;
• copy our articles, explanations or designs and publish them as your own;
• use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass or deceive anyone.

Linking to any page is welcome. If you quote a short passage, credit Calclulo and link back.

Ownership

The site's text, design, logo, code and calculator pages belong to Calclulo or its licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the site as intended. Formulas and facts, such as how to work out a percentage or when a public holiday falls, belong to nobody, and you can use them freely. The numbers you enter and the results you get are yours.

Shared links and exports

A share link contains the values you entered, and an export is a file on your own device. Once you pass either to someone, we can't control what they do with it. Don't share links containing information you want to keep private.

Other sites and services

We link to other sites, including social networks and our sister products, and rely on services such as Supabase for sign-in. We aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Availability

We try to keep Calclulo fast and online but don't guarantee it will always work or be error-free. Your browser's offline copy may show an older version of a page until you reload. We may add, change or remove calculators at any time.

Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Calclulo is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty that results are accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose. For the same reason, we are not liable for loss or damage from using, or being unable to use, the site, including lost profit or savings, penalties, interest, tax assessments or other indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that can't lawfully be limited, such as fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Ending your use

You can stop using Calclulo whenever you like. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms. The sections on ownership, disclaimers and liability continue afterwards.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site grows and will change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using the site afterwards you accept the new version. We'll highlight any change that significantly affects your rights.

Governing law

These terms follow the law of the country where Chimee Holding is established, and its courts handle disputes, unless the law lets you bring a claim elsewhere.
