Vehicle Custom Duty Calculator helps you accurately estimate import duty, levies, VAT, and other charges on imported cars.

How to use the calculator

To use the calculator first;

1. Enter the Price of Vehicle in United States Dollar
2. Input the current Exchange Rate (₦ per United States Dollar)
3. The calculator will automatically compute the Vehicle Value (₦) based on the price and exchange rate.
4. View the Import Duty calculated at 20% of the vehicle value.
5. See the Levy applied at 15% of the vehicle value.
6. The Surcharge of 7% is automatically calculated based on the import duty.
7. The ETL (0.5%) is computed from the vehicle value.
8. The calculator adds VAT (7.5%) based on applicable charges.
9. Review the Total Customs Charges which includes import duty, levy, surcharge, ETL, and VAT.
10. Finally, check the Total Vehicle Cost in Naira, which sums the vehicle value and all customs charges.
